Very nice stay

Nice hotel in a peaceful location, beautiful park. Nice restaurant, copious breakfast, kind and welcoming staff.

The bathroom is a bit outdated. No bottle of water offered in the room.

Neat and comfortable

Comfortable and clean, pretty outdoors. Great bike racks, even with outlets for charging e-bikes.

Pool was a bit cold for relaxing, but nice temperature for an active swim.

Wonderful stay. I will we could have stayed there longer.

Convenient to find (just off the main road). A quiet but stylish hotel with lovely gardens. Modern interiors. We loved the look of the hotel and enjoyed the cups of coffee and tea which were freely available in the main corridor. Our group all enjoyed Breakfast and an evening meal. The former was mostly continental, however there was some hot food available for which I was very grateful as I am intolerant to cow's milk (lactose). It would have been much easier if the bread etc had allergen information to hand, so I didn't have any bread but the chef was kind enough to cook me poached eggs which weren't officially on the menu, but important to me for high cholesterol reasons. The evening meal was a different story as the kitchen staff catered very well for my problem. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in a beautiful hotel.

No Labelling of the food at breakfast to show allergen information, as it would make it so much more convenient and availability of oat or soya milk would be a bonus. Fortunately, I always take my own oat milk on holiday so I can have a cup of tea or coffee to drink. I have been ill in the past as a result of dehydration, so now do everything I can to avoid such a situation.

Nice beds, nicely decorated room, very friendly staff in the bar, good breakfast

The pool and the sauna look a lot better on the pictures, and our room didn't smell good. Shame that the coffee in the room was instant coffee

Lovely place to stay, great restaurant, friendly staff, nice grounds.

Swimming pool was a bit dated and dirty, lighting in the room was insufficient (I couldn't see in the wardrobe).

Awesome

Such a serene atmosphere to relax for the weekend. The rooms were clean and spacious. Room service for dinners because of COVID but you can have breakfast in the restaurant which was awesome. We really enjoyed our stay and the staff were amazing.

I'd advise asking the hotel to book you a cab from the station if you're going by train and would prefer not to walk the half hour.

We had a lovely time!

The room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was really good with lots of variety. My daughter loved the croissants and pancakes! The location was great. Very peaceful and beautiful, with lots of tracks to walk and things to see.

It would have been great to have a bath tube in the room, but the shower space was good and the water pressure nice.

Pleasant, comfortable, modern hotel in a great location

Modern, clean, quiet, comfortable, well-furnished rooms. Friendly, efficient and helpful staff. Nice location, so long as you have a car (or bike). I only slept there, for a total of 10 nights, but it met my needs more than adequately.
